Our Story

Brilliant Academy, the brainchild of two Professionals, started in 2018.It had been realized that previously there was no focus on building a strong foundation of concepts, particularly in English and Mathematics, among the children.So, these two decided to initiate tutoring centers for the kids. The main aim was to assist the children in developing skills and delivering consistency in progression. And the tutoring centers aimed to do so by gaining an insight into the adaptability of the kids in learning concepts. This noble thought of the two professors led to the start of the Academy.

The founders decided to emphasize on qualitative learning approach and make the foundation quite strong for the students. At Brilliant Academy, teaching is focused based on the NSW school curriculum. Focus is provided on the strategies according to the NSW Education Department, the tutoring programs are mapped and tailored as per a child’s specific goals. The primary areas of learning include writing, vocabulary, language conventions, reading skills, and mathematics.

Additionally, the curriculum is communicated to the parents who will get to see the learnings of their child with the Academy. Designed around the individual goals and desires of an individual child, the learning programs at Brilliant Academy aid in building confidence and providing the correct help at the perfect time. From catching up, excelling in school, and building confidence, students and parents alike agree that Brilliant Academy works. The unique problem-solving strategy of the Academy simplified the steps involved in solving a problem. In other words, Joining Brilliant Academy unlocks a world that is full of potential.

Our Mission

Brilliant Academy aims at providing an inspiring, vibrant and positive environment where students are encouraged and valued to succeed and become lifelong learners. The mission is to support the learners to become critical, reflective, and curious in thinking through quality tutoring. The institution teaches confidence, respect, resilience, persistence, and independence among students. The objective is to develop engaged and responsible learners, accept and respect others, and foster tolerance. Self-esteem and resilience are built among the students. Ultimately, the Academy provides a relevant, rich curriculum that helps every student succeed.

Our Goals

• Learner-centered:

The process of learning and teaching is student-centered. Instead of focusing on the curriculum as a whole, the Academy focuses on the individual learner and every need of students. The learner-centered approach emphasizes the learning styles, abilities, and interests of students and fosters incentive and motivation to learn. In this way, learners take responsibility and own the process of learning instead of waiting for the teachers to spoon-feed them. This increases students’ engagement in learning, which builds a strong foundation for the subject and fosters academic improvement.

• Integrity based:

Academic integrity basically is a commitment to mainly six fundamental values: courage, responsibility, respect, fairness, trust, and honesty. Brilliant Academy uses integrated-based learning that involves generating, using, and communicating information in a responsible, honest, and ethical manner. Through the learning process, the Academy delivers services that sustain high academic standards. This empowers the students to become independent, active, and responsible learners who can adapt to various learning environments. In the Australian Curriculum, the students develop ethical understanding when they investigate and identify the nature of character traits, values, and concepts and get insight into how reasoning can assist ethical judgment.

• Supportive:

Brilliant Academy pride itself on creating a study experience that is supportive, friendly, and welcoming. The tutors are well aware of the help a child needs with their studies. The customized education programs and expert tutoring allow the child to keep up, catch up, and even exceed their peers. The teaching-learning process is made engaging and fun. Feedback after each session helps the parents keep track of their child’s progress. The founders of the Academy have a passion for teaching and believe that knowledge and education must be shared.
